Four incumbents and nine newcomers are seeking six seats on the Richardson City Council. The mayor is also running unopposed for re-election.
City Council members Scott Dunn, Place 3; Mabel Simpson, Place 4; and Marta Gomez Frey, Place 5, are not seeking re-election.
Dallas County residents will also vote on a bond measure for the Dallas County Community College District. Collin County residents will vote on candidates for four seats on the Collin College board of trustees.
Early voting runs through April 30. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day May 4.

Dallas County Community College District Proposition A
Approval of the proposition would authorize the board of trustees of Dallas County Community College District to issue and sell bonds and notes in the principal amount of $1.1 billion for the purpose of constructing, improving, renovating and equipping school buildings of the District and acquiring real property.
