Jolly, who made the announcement at the chamber's annual meeting on Jan. 26, said the chamber wants to project a more modern and professional image while meeting the needs of a growing membership. The Jan. 26 luncheon also marked the chamber's 70th anniversary.
The move also falls in sync with the city's long-term redevelopment plans for the downtown Plano, Jolly said. Work has started on the new offices and staff is expected to move into the new space soon.
