Espadas de Brazil’s food truck at Boring Bodega is now closed for dining but still available for catering.

The community celebrated the end of nearly two years of renovations May 22 with a grand reopening celebration. Registered on June 4, the $2.5 million facility will include apparatus bays, living quarters, a day room, kitchen, fitness room and other amenities within an approximately 6,000-square-foot, single-story metal building. Construction is set to begin Sept. 1 and last one year.
Business owners and brothers Greg Germer and Gary Germer Jr. plan to move their independent broker agency in mid-July from 799 SH 71 W., Bastrop, to the former Relics Artisan Jewelry & Gifts, which closed in February.
