For the 14th year, Opal Divine's Austin Grill will benefit Meals on Wheels and other nonprofits through its annual Whisky Festival tonight at its Penn Field location. A variety of malts from the British Isles and beyond will be featured. Scottish smoked salmon, meats, fruits and cheeses will also be served. A shuttle running from Opal Divine's North Austin location is free and will depart at 6:30 p.m., with multiple return trips. Tickets range between $40-$45 and can be purchased here.

Lights of Love

Guests can stroll down Mueller Lake Trail and enjoy glowing holiday lights. Features include a snow slide, children's crafts, photos with Santa Claus, festive music and hot chocolate. Proceeds from the event benefit families with hospitalized children who rely on the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.

A Legacy of Giving's annual Day of Service

This holiday season, more than 500 students from 40 Austin schools will come together to celebrate student-led food and clothing drives. Volunteers and students will unload 40 PODS containers filled with more than 50,000 pounds of food and 3,000 coats to benefit the Central Texas Food Bank and the Junior League of Austin's Coats for Kids drive.

"The Nutcracker"

The ballet celebrates its 54th year as the longest-running production of its kind in Texas with Stephen Mill's seasonal classic "The Nutcracker." The production features animated choreography and showcases Ballet Austin's professional company of dancers and the students of the Ballet Austin Academy. Price is dependent on venue seat and ranges between $15-$89.
