A site plan for a 7-Eleven convenience store, located in the Shops at Slaughter Creek North at 5000 W. Slaughter Lane, Austin, has been submitted for review by developer Kimley-Horn to the city of Austin.

Situated outside of the Sendera neighborhood, the proposed 7-Eleven would be built in a currently vacant 1.2-acre grass plat in the center’s parking lot. The convenience store is proposed to have parking, four gas pumps, a canopy and an underground storage tank, according to city documents.

The site plan was submitted to the city in November. Kimley-Horn Project Manager Andrew Evans said on March 15 the developer is currently working with the city to update the plan to address concerns the city has noted during the review process. No timeline has been set for when a revised plan will be submitted.
