Construction crews will be placing bridge beams over the roadway at Hwy. 123 and FM 110 in San Marcos, which will cause various single-lane closures Oct. 1-2 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to a press release issued by the Texas Department of Transportation.

On Oct. 3 from 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m., there will be a full closure of the intersection, and southbound traffic will be detoured via FM 110 and Rattler Road, while northbound traffic will be detoured using FM 110 and Wonder World Drive.

TxDOT has deployed road signs to alert drivers of the closures. Drivers are asked to use extra caution while moving through the area.
