The Ascension Seton Hays hospital facility in Kyle has begun construction on two new operating rooms that will increase its capacity for complex surgeries.

The announcement came via an April 15 news release that said the new rooms are scheduled to be operation-ready by fall.

"The new ORs will support complex cardiovascular surgery, and muskuloskeletal, plastic and neurological surgical care, among others," the release states. "The ORs will feature advanced, built-in technology, further expanding surgical procedures with minimally-invasive robotics applications at Ascension Seton Hays." 512-504-5125 www.healthcare.ascension.org
