As the Christmas season draws to a close, many people will be looking to take down their Christmas trees. For Round Rock and Pflugerville residents interested in recycling their Christmas trees, several local facilities are available for drop-off services.

Round Rock residents living within the city limits and paying city taxes can drop off brush—up to two cubic yards—for free at the city’s Brush Recycling Center, located at 310 Deepwood Drive. The center is open Mon.-Sat. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Users must prove residency with a Round Rock water bill and valid driver’s license.

The city of Pflugerville’s recycling center offers its services to city residents with users asked to bring a city utility statement and valid photo ID for verification. Located at 15500 Sun Light Near Way, Ste. B, Pflugerville, the center is open Friday, Saturday and Monday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
