Taco Casa will break ground on a new restaurant at 330 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto, right next to Chipotle, on Dec. 2. The location is expected to open in late January or early February. Taco Casa has locations across Texas, but the Hutto location will be its first in the Austin area.

“We just see the expected growth of Hutto to be really great in the future,” Hutto Taco Casa President Kelly Franklin said. “We also love the fact that it is a suburb of Austin and part of the great Williamson County of Texas.”
