Tiny home community opens in Round Rock

Officials from Austin-based Amplify Credit Union announced Sept. 28 the completion of a tiny home community the credit union funded in Round Rock called Mustard Seed Village.

The community, at 20 Tate Lane, Round Rock, features a total of 28 two-bedroom, one-bath homes where rent is capped at $1,375 a month.

New surgery center to service Pflugerville


The Texas Digestive Disease Consultants and Cedar Park Regional Medical Center have partnered to create the Pflugerville Surgery Center, a multispecialty ambulatory surgical center.

The project broke ground on Oct. 24 and is slated to be fully built out by 2026.

New fire station to service Pflugerville

Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 held a grand opening for its sixth fire station Oct. 28. The new facility, located at 17221 Weiss Lane, will service the Pflugerville area once fully operational.


Pipeline to bring jet fuel to Austin airport

Flint Hill Resources officials announced plans Oct. 17 to build a fuel pipeline from the Bastrop terminal to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
