Approximately 3.2 acres at the southeast corner of East Pflugerville Parkway and SH 130 could soon be designated for commercial development.

Rezoning of the site is up for consideration at Pflugerville City Council's March 14 meeting. The land's current zoning is agricultural/development reserve. If approved, the rezoning would change it to urban center, a designation that allows for a mix of commercial and dense residential uses.

Notably, the site is the same one for which H-E-B has submitted filings with the city and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, but city materials regarding the rezoning do not name a specific project.
