Residents are invited to learn more about area transportation plans at Monday’s Northwest Austin Coalition meeting.

The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at the Spicewood Springs Library, 8637 Spicewood Springs Road, Austin.

NWAC is the organization co-founded by District 6 City Council Member Jimmy Flannigan, who has continued hosting the group’s meetings to inform his constituents about upcoming issues, such as transportation, the city budget, and CodeNEXT, the city’s land development code rewrite process.

Monday’s meeting focuses on the Austin Strategic Mobility Plan under development and the relaunch of Project Connect, the regional high-capacity transit plan spearheaded by Capital Metro. The meeting continues discussions from the March 4 Traffic Jam! event Capital Metro and the city hosted to inform residents about the two plans.
