The city of New Braunfels is considering a road construction project that would update the Landa Park Drive bridge near Mill Pond. The bridge currently has narrow travel lanes and remains a high-volume pedestrian traffic area with just one sidewalk, city officials said.
The project would cost an estimated $630,000, including city easements and right of way adjustments, and may include illumination upgrades to pedestrian walkways, officials said. Possible construction mandates for the project include a future start date of Dec. 1 with completion by Memorial Day. City Council will take possible action on the project at a meeting Jan. 13.
