On Nov. 13 eastbound traffic on East Whitestone Boulevard was moved to new lanes to the north of the roadway as part of a project at the intersection of East Whitestone Boulevard and Parmer Lane/Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Cedar Park. The project is converting the area into a partial continuous-flow intersection and widening Whitestone Boulevard from four to six lanes
between Market Street and CR 175/Sam Bass Road. The project will lengthen turn lanes at the road’s intersections with Toro Grande Drive as well as Raley and Sam Bass roads. The project was originally scheduled to wrap up in winter 2015 but was delayed by weather as well as design needs and utility conflicts. As of Dec. 7 the project was listed as 50 percent complete.
