Many shops at Bee Cave’s retail hotspot The Hill Country Galleria closed following shelter-in-place orders mandated by Travis County. Weeks later many are reopening for curbside pickup following Gov. Greg Abbott’s April 17 order outlining guidelines to reopen local businesses through Texas.
The Texas Department of State Health Services administered guidance to nonessential retail businesses interested in reopening during the coronavirus pandemic. Measures addressed include how businesses can resume services while protecting the safety of both employees and customers.
Shoppers are not permitted on the premises of the retailer but are able to make purchases through a retail to-go service, accommodating curbside pickups, mail deliveries and store drop-offs. In order to limit contact, payments must take place over the phone or online, according to TDSHS.
Here is a comprehensive list of Hill Country Galleria shops accommodating retail to-go or delivery orders. The list will be updated as more shops begin to reopen.
Adorn Boutique is offering pickup service Mondays and Wednesdays from noon-4 p.m. Customers can place orders and schedule pickup arrangements over the phone. The boutique showcases its clothing selections online and through its Instagram accounts. Mail delivery orders can also be placed through the website.
Athleta is offering contactless curbside pickup orders through its website. Customers can shop online and select the pickup in store option at checkout. Curbside orders can be placed daily from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Barnes & Noble is fulfilling orders online with the option to pick up items in-store. Customers can shop online as usual and select the pickup option at checkout. Upon arrival, customers should call the store location, and a staff member will bring the order to the customer’s vehicle.
The Caravan Co-op is offering curbside pickup orders placed over the phone or at [email protected]. New products are showcased through the company’s Instagram account.
Dick’s Sporting Goods has implemented a contactless pickup service, with the option to shop online or through the Dick’s Sporting Goods application. Customers can select curbside pickup at checkout and retrieve their orders from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
Dillard’s is accommodating curbside orders Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Orders can be placed over the phone or through a text message at 512-636-3604. The pickup location is at the dock area on the northwest side of the building.
Fab’rik is offering retail to-go and delivery orders. Customers can browse the shop’s selection through its Instagram page and place orders at [email protected]. Curbside pickup is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Lure by Y&F is offering service through curbside and delivery orders with multiple ways to shop. Customers can make purchases through Instagram, Facebook or the store’s website. Curbside pickup is available daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Arrangements can be made over the phone.
Oriental Rug Gallery is fulfilling curbside orders over the phone Monday through Friday from 1-4 p.m. The shop’s inventory can be found online.
Zoltan David is accommodating pickup and delivery orders with limited operating hours Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Customers can shop online and select next-day pickup at checkout.
