Rock Springs Georgetown is planning to add 24 beds to the existing 72-bed facility this spring. The expansion will include added dining and mechanical space with the total projects estimated to be a $6 million upgrade. According to Rock Springs Chief Operations Officer Erin Basalay, the expansion will not disrupt current services.

"The expansion is needed to provide additional mental health and substance use treatment for adolescents and adults in our community," Basalay said. "By expanding our facility and adding 24 beds, we can provide high-quality treatment in our community which reduces the need for Williamson County residents to leave the county to secure services."

Rock Springs provides in- and outpatient mental health services and addiction treatment, according to its website.

The facility is located at 700 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown. 512-819-9400. https://rockspringshealth.com/
