Residents are invited to provide feedback on a variety of transportation issues throughout April during the city’s Conversation Corps.

Conversation Corps began last May to engage residents on a variety of topics, such as the city’s budget, recycling, parking and transit. Trained facilitators lead groups through discussion, Leadership Austin Program Manager Julie Smith told Community Impact Newspaper.

In April the topic is mobility, and residents will be asked about which transportation system they would like City Council to prioritize as well as what mobility improvements they would like to see. The discussions are also part of the city’s Mobility Talks program running through May 8. Leadership Austin is a partner in Conversation Corps, which also includes a collaboration with Austin ISD and Capital Metro.

The city is also hosting two upcoming Mobility Talks Live open house events. Feedback from both the Conversation Corp and Mobility Talks events will be presented to the City Council Mobility Committee on June 8.

These events are come-and-go, and refreshments will be provided. Residents may also take the Mobility Talks survey or find more information at www.mobilitytalks.org.
