Austin Water is beginning a project in April to upgrade aging water and wastewater lines in an area of North Central Austin where line breaks are common.
Some customers will experience water and wastewater outages when their service is connected to the new line, a process city staff said typically takes several hours. Timeline: April 2021-June 2022
