Cedar Park will become the home of two key developments after council’s unanimous approval of special use permits March 28.

Mineral pool spa WorldSprings and interactive golf entertainment brand PopStroke are coming to the city as the first locations in Central Texas.

WorldSprings

WorldSprings is planning to bring over 40 soaking pools and mineral springs that reflect and mimic various water bodies around the world to an 8-acre site located just off 183A Toll. The complex will feature a blend of hot and cold springs as well as larger freshwater pools.

In addition to the pools, WorldSprings will offer spa services, health and wellness coaching, retail options, and on-site restaurants.

PopStroke

Backed by professional golfer Tiger Woods, PopStroke is bringing a 36-hole miniature golf course, and a roughly 14,000-square-foot restaurant and full-service bar to a 2.85-acre property located at 817 C-Bar Ranch Trail, Cedar Park.

Other features include an ice cream parlor, outdoor play area, a beer garden and private rooms.

Representatives from each company were requesting a special-use permit from the city to continue development. Council approved the permits for both developments during the March 28 meeting.

Official timelines for either development are not yet available. However, a PopStroke representative said construction could be completed in eight to 10 months once the development is allowed to proceed.
