Interactive golf entertainment brand PopStroke may be coming to Cedar Park as one of the first locations in Central Texas.

About the project

Backed by professional golfer Tiger Woods, PopStroke could bring a 36-hole miniature golf course, and a roughly 14,000-square-foot restaurant and full-service bar to Cedar Park.

PopStroke representative Brad Carabajal said other features include:
  • An ice cream parlor
  • An outdoor play area for children
  • A beer garden with foosball, ping-pong, cornhole and a lounge area
  • Private rooms for events, parties and fundraisers
The proposed project will be situated on a 2.85-acre property located at 817 C-Bar Ranch Trail, Cedar Park.

Carabajal said PopStroke has 10 locations with 10 more scheduled to either open or break ground in 2024. He said in addition to the proposed Cedar Park location, the company is also planning to build a facility in Austin.

For the project to move forward, council has to approve the company’s request for a special use permit. Council will consider the request for approval at its next meeting.

If the project is allowed to proceed, Carabajal said construction could be completed in eight to 10 months.
