What’s happening?
Hosted by Bastrop's Main Street Program, the free, family-friendly fun will include events such as:
- Letter-writing to Santa Claus and ornament decorating
- A giant inflatable Toboggan tunnel
- Bounces houses
- Face painting
- Pop-up snack booths
- Cookies and Cocoa crawl throughout local downtown retailers
What else?
The Lost Pines Christmas Parade will kick off at 6 p.m. with over 100 floats, fire trucks, cowboys and more, traveling down Main Street downtown.
Afterward, spectators can head to the River of Lights at the June Hill Pape riverwalk trail in Fisherman's Park, near Neighbor's Kitchen and Yard.
Each year, the River of Lights offers lighted holiday displays stretching about a half-mile. It is open daily from dusk until 10 p.m.
