Bastrop officials have teamed up with Santa Claus to streamline letters from local children to the North Pole in time for Christmas.
How it works
Rachel Hatch, Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center public relations manager, said the “magical mailbox” was provided by Downtown Bastrop and the City of Bastrop, and is set up in front of the museum downtown.
Children can prewrite their letters, or families can slip inside and use the special stationery provided by the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center, located within the Holiday Traditions exhibit.
