The details
The patch will open on Oct. 4 and stay open until the end of the month. During event weekends there will be picture opportunities, yard games, a hay maze, hayrides and other family activities.
On Saturdays events will also be themed, including Community Heroes Day on Oct. 5, Weekend Fun on Oct. 12 and Kids Day on Oct. 19. A Wine on the Vine event will be held on Oct. 13.
Alongside themed days, each week will feature pet days on Wednesdays, community coffee on Thursdays and stories at the patch on Fridays.
What else?
For those looking to contribute to the pumpkin patch, volunteer opportunities will be available with registration available on the city website.
The pumpkin patch will be located in the grass lot next to the municipal building. Parking will be available between the municipal building and Fire Station.
