Universal City residents will have an opportunity to get rid of household waste and hazardous waste at the Universal City Clean-up event. The event will be held April 13-16 and April 20-23.

Throughout the event, hazardous waste can be dropped off alongside household items.

Acceptable hazardous items include oil filters, pool chemicals, household cleaners, passenger and light truck tires, and other items.

Tube-type television and computer monitors will be accepted. Tires will not be accepted if they are attached to rims or wheels.

This event is open to Universal City residents only, and proof of residency will be required.


Waste can be dropped off at the Universal City Public Works Department, located at 256 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City. Drop-off times are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on the dates of the event.
