After an anticipated wait, Barnes & Noble at The Forum at Olympia Parkway in Selma celebrated its grand opening.

The gist

To celebrate the grand opening, Selma officials were joined by officials of local municipalities as members of the community lined up by the door. Author Katie Gutierrez hosted a signing of her book “More Than You’ll Ever Know.”

The store offers a selection of books from fiction, nonfiction and other subgenres. Alongside books, the store has a Barnes & Noble Cafe that features Starbucks beverages and other menu items.
