The organization has been serving local districts for more than 30 years, impacting over 42,000 students across 57 schools, according to the organization website.
Supplies needed include:
- Wide ruled composition books
- Large backpacks
- Clear backpacks
- Earbuds
- Headphones
- Stylus
- Highlighters
- Markers
Donation bins will be set up at locations across New Braunfels and northeast San Antonio. A list of drop off locations can be found here.
Communities in Schools staff and volunteers will also be at H-E-B locations in Schertz, Cibolo and New Braunfels on Aug. 3 to collect supplies and donations.
