Lewisville adds sixth city council seat following Castle Hills annexation

On May 7, residents in cities around the DFW metroplex will take to the polls to vote on a number of races and propositions. One consequential race will appear on Lewisville voters’ ballots, as the city of Lewisville is set to gain an additional city council member following the recent annexation of the Castle Hills master-planned community, which gave a significant boost to the city’s overall population.

Village within expansive Fields development in Frisco to feature 5-star Ritz-Carlton Hotel

The city of Frisco is having a major development moment, with PGA of America in the midst of bringing its new headquarters to the city, along with the associated Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Local officials have said the PGA’s investment is having a “halo effect,” exemplified by a recent announcement that North Frisco’s upcoming Fields project will feature a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the first five-star luxury hotel to arrive in the northern DFW region.
