Halloween is fast approaching. Here are six events in Sugar Land and Missouri where you and your family can dress up, trick-or-treat and be spooked. This list is not comprehensive.
Oct. 25-26
1. Tricks, Treats and T-Rex Haunted House
After hours at the Houston Museum of Natural Science-Sugar Land means haunted house fun. These spooks are best suited for kids age 7 and older. $5 (members), $10 (nonmembers). 7-10 p.m. 13016 University Blvd., Sugar Land. 281-313-2277.

Oct. 25-27
2. City of Sugar Land’s Haunted House
The city of Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department will host the third annual haunted house at Imperial Park Recreation Center. There will be a kid-friendly walk-through as well as other family-friendly activities. 6-9 p.m. Free (residents, recreation center members), $3 (nonresidents, day-of tickets). 234 Matlage Way, Sugar Land. 281-275-2885.

Oct. 26
3. Halloween Town
This year, Sugar Land’s annual Halloween Town will be held at Constellation Field. Activities include a costume contest, scavenger hunts, balloon artists, a petting zoo, games, vendors and more. 4-8 p.m. $5 (kids), $7 (adults). 1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land. 281-207-9116.

4. Tricks and Treats in the Park
Come dressed in costume and join the city of Missouri City for Tricks and Treats in the Park at Buffalo Run Park. Festivities will include a petting zoo, haunted trail, games and vendors. 4-6 p.m. Free. 1122 Buffalo Run Blvd., Missouri City. 281-403-8639.

5. Tricks, Treats and T-Rex Halloween Festival

Through Oct. 31
6. Monstrously Gross Bash
Create Halloween-themed crafts, dance and more at the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center. Trick-or-treating is happening daily from 4-6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends now through Halloween. The center is celebrating Halloween daily with its Halloween Grosstopia, culminating with the bash Oct. 31. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. $12. 198 Kempner St., Sugar Land. 832-742-2800.
