Unitas Construction crews were slated to complete the extension of Holderrieth Road in Tomball between Calvert Road and Hwy. 249 in late August as a four-lane concrete boulevard. However, due to necessary safety measures, the roadway will now be open to the public Sept. 9 said Pamela Rocchi, director of Harris County Precinct 4's Capital Improvements Projects division.
Rocchi said the installation of a guardrail is required before opening the roadway to the public, which is scheduled to be complete, along with roadway striping, in the first week of September. All remaining detail work will be completed utilizing one-lane closures, Rocchi said.
