As part of every edition, we publish an Impacts section featuring announcements about businesses that are coming soon, have recently opened, relocated, renovated or expanded, are under new management or ownership, changed names, or closed. We also include a monthly calendar of events and important dates called the To-do list.

Although we welcome tips from the community sent via email or social media, the information on our Impacts page often stems from a City Council meeting involving a permit or variance request.

We also find business news by tracking permits online or even by driving around the city looking for leads.

Similarly, our To-do list events are compiled from information emailed to us or submitted online at communityimpact.com/events. This online resource is especially useful for items that have not made our print deadline.
