A construction project at the intersection of Spring Creek Parkway and Coit Road is expected to last into August. Crews are working to construct dedicated right-hand turning lanes on Coit and Spring Creek, as well as a U-turn lane on the eastern side of Spring Creek, city of Plano Senior Engineer Clay Lipscomb confirmed. The project will also expand the existing U-turn lane on the western side of Spring Creek. Although the $1.7 million project may cause temporary, outside lane closures, Lipscomb said the project is not expected to cause significant traffic delays. Any lane closures will take place form 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The project, which began March 26, is expected to last through August 27.
