From Fox 7 Weather Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher:

Above normal temperatures will stay with us through Thursday until our next cold front dives into Central Texas.

It’s not an Arctic front, but it will cool things down for a few days.

I am expecting more clouds and possibly some spotty light rain late Friday into Saturday. Computer models are not indicating much (if any) heavy rain, but we certainly could use any rain!
