Development highlights


Developers are turning dirt throughout Frisco. Developments include office or medical parks and retail centers. The following are highlights of different projects under construction in Frisco.



1. Legacy Medical Park III


The first two buildings of the 68,000-square-foot medical park on the southeast corner of Legacy Drive and Warren Parkway have been completed. A total of seven buildings will be developed for medical or office use and a Kiddie Academy facility. Construction began April 2016 and is expected to be completed in September.

2. Restaurant/retail building


Construction has begun on a building that will house a new Japanese restaurant and office or retail space. The building, on the northwest corner of Preston Road and John Hickman Parkway, is 8,000 square feet and is expected to be constructed by October.

3. Waterstone Office Park


The first phase of Waterstone Office Park is completed at the southwest corner of FM 423 and Lebanon Road. Construction on the second phase of the project will begin in September, and the third phase will begin next year. The development will include medical and office space and total of 55,000 square feet.



4. Frisco Ranch


Construction on a 100,000-square-foot, Asian-theme development has begun on the northeast corner of Preston Road and Warren Parkway. The development already has three anchor tenants: 99 Ranch Market, Daiso Japan and 85°C Bakery Cafe. The development is expected to be completed by fall.



5. Eldorado/Teel retail strip center


Developers broke ground on a retail strip center in January at the southeast corner of Eldorado and Teel parkways. The center will have 7,000 square feet of space and is expected to have medical offices, a coffee shop and other local neighborhood businesses. The strip center is expected to be completed this summer.



6. Stonebrook Square


The first phase of Stonebrook Square is near completion. Tenants will move in this summer. The 40,000-square-foot development will be located at the northeast corner of Teel Parkway and Stonebrook Parkway. The first building, which is 15,000 square feet, began construction in June 2016. The second phase of the project will begin construction within five months. Space is geared toward medical and office use. The entire development is expected to be completed in 2018.
