A range of activities is scheduled for this Saturday, March 25 in Spring and Klein, including several business grand openings, a 5K benefit run and musical performance.

5K fun run

The Running for Hearts 5K Family Fun Run and Walk benefits Shield Bearer and supports victims of crime, abuse and human trafficking with a timed 5K trail run, 1-mile walk, children’s activities, music, food, T-shirts and prizes. 7-11 a.m. $10 (child), $25 (adult). Homeschool Family Expo

The fourth annual event features an exhibit hall with several dozen homeschool-related community offerings, a student commerce fair, a mini book fair, science demonstrations and barbecue plates.
