Along side the financial donation, Texas Health employees have volunteered to build the home. Construction on the duplex began yesterday, and the community was introduced to Bobbie Dicking and Carmen Sanchez, the soon-to-be owners of the duplex. Habitat for Humanity South Collin County Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Transamerica and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano volunteered to build the duplex.[/caption] “In my prayer journal a little over four years ago I wrote, ‘God please give me a small house with a little backyard,’" Dicking said. "Imagine my joy and surprise when he gave it to me. Habitat for Humanity is a Christian-based ministry and I’m grateful that God has blessed me and my family tremendously through this wonderful organization.” The home is expected to be complete in four-five months, weather pending. Other businesses who sponsored this build include Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Transamerica, St. Mark's Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Cisco and Owens Corning.
