Typically, voters must be registered to vote in their county 30 days before an election, but the 30th day this year is Sunday, Oct. 9. Because Monday, Oct. 10 is a holiday, the last day for registration is Oct. 11, 28 days before the election.

2. Early voting begins Oct. 24 and ends Nov. 4
Registered voters in Collin County can cast their ballot at any county vote center during early voting from Oct. 24-Nov. 4.

3. Nov. 8 is Election Day
In order to vote, you must bring an accepted form of identification. These forms include an original, certified birth certificate; valid voter registration certificate; a copy or original current utility bill, bank statement or paycheck; US passport or Texas drivers license. For a full list of acceptable forms of identification, please visit the Texas Secretary of State.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
