The
North Texas Tollway Authority has planned various overnight lane closures Sept. 23-29 along the Dallas North Tollway in Plano as construction to add a fourth lane in each direction continues.
Construction began
last summer and also includes the rebuilding of the Tennyson Bridge and the reconfiguration of the DNT/PGBT interchange. Changeable message signs will be placed prior to the lane closures and all closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed if necessary.
Below is a schedules of weekend closures to take place starting today:
Friday, Sept. 23 through the morning of Saturday, Sept. 24:
- Northbound right lane from Legacy Drive to Headquarters Drive (closed 8-11 p.m. Sept. 23)
- Two northbound right lanes from Legacy Drive to Headquarters Drive (closed 11 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday)
Periodic lane closures will be taking place along the Dallas North Tollway as a widening project continues.[/caption]
Friday, Sept. 23 through the morning of Sunday, Sept. 25:
- Northbound DNT exit ramp to Headquarters Drive (closed nightly from 11 p.m.-8 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 24 through the morning of Sunday, Sept. 25:
- Two northbound right lanes from Legacy Drive to Headquarters Drive (closed 11 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday)
Sunday, Sept. 25:
- Northbound right lane from Legacy Drive to Headquarters Drive (closed 10 a.m.-9 p.m.)
- Two northbound right lanes from Legacy Drive to Headquarters Drive (closed 9 p.m.-5 a.m.)
Below is the scheduled daily lane closures along the DNT scheduled for Sept. 22-29:
- Northbound Parker Road exit ramp (8 p.m.-5 a.m.)
- U-turn lanes at Parker Road and Dallas Parkway (8 p.m.-5 a.m.)
- All lanes of Parker Road between north- and southbound Dallas Parkway (10 p.m.-5 a.m.)
- Two northbound left lanes of Dallas Parkway from Chapel Hill Boulevard to Windhaven Parkway (10 p.m.-5 a.m.)
