From 2000 to 2010, the city of Round Rock's population increased by almost 40,000 residents, according to census data. In 2014, it is estimated the city contains more than 113,000 residents, with another 13,000 expected to arrive in the next five years. Demographic reports show the city's population is composed primarily of family households, a white-collar workforce and more than 34,000 children age 17 and younger.
