The Domain plans to host its seventh annual tree lighting event Nov. 23, including fireworks, face painting and live music by country singer Phil Vassar and local youth choir Outside Voices.

Live music entertainment begins at 6 p.m. with Outside Voices followed by Vassar's performance. Afterward, Santa Claus will light the 40-foot holiday tree and make himself available for photos. This year's tree features more than 6,000 lights, 400 ornaments and a 5-foot-tall star topper. Domain II, between Dick's Sporting Goods and Dillard's, will have an 18-foot fir tree made of lights.

The all-day holiday celebration begins at noon and includes caricature drawings and craft activities. Participating stores at The Domain, located at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace, offer special sales, coupons, swag bags, discounts and more.
