P. Terry's Burger Stand founder Patrick Terry confirmed that his eighth restaurant will open one month earlier than expected on US 183.
Terry said he expects to open the restaurant in mid-December instead of January as originally planned. The new restaurant, located at 12018 Research Blvd., will be nearly 1,000 square feet and feature a double drive-thru. Terry said this location has garnered the most excitement of any location, namely because of the 45,000-pound steel awning that spans over the restaurant.
"We really consider it a sculpture, a piece of art," he said.
P. Terry's opened its seventh location June 27 at 12301 N. MoPac. The burger joint is known for its use of 100 percent all-natural Angus beef burgers and fresh-cut fries. www.pterrys.com
