Williamson County residents will have an opportunity to learn about proposed road and park bond projects at open house sessions scheduled for each precinct.

County representatives will be available at the open house sessions to speak about proposed projects as well as to provide election information, said Connie Watson, public affairs manager for Williamson County.

There will be no scheduled or formal presentations. Instead, residents may come and go as they wish while the open house is in progress, a news release read.

County commissioners called for a $315 million bond election at their Aug. 20 meeting. The bond is split into two propositions: $275 million for road construction and improvement projects and $40 million for park and trail improvements.

The bond election will be held Nov. 5. The last day to register to vote is Oct. 7. For more information, visit the bond election page at www.wilco.org.
