Megaton Brewery, a steampunk-themed brewery and taproom, opens March 30 at 808 Russell Palmer Road, Kingwood. Owners Chris Sarvadi, Jered Montgomery, Victoria Sarvadi and John Paul Barkley wanted to create a hometown brewery using vintage recipes and infusions, Chris said. The brewery will feature 17 taps showcasing its own brews as well as local beers. Some Megaton Brewery beers include the Atomic Chariot, an American Pale Ale brewed with champagne yeast and honey; the Bunker Buster, a milk stout with hints of chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon; and the Mir, a coffee stout brewed with Humble’s own Javalope Coffee. 281-973-9043.
