School of Rock will host an open house Aug. 10 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at 21117 I-45 N., Ste. 600, Spring, followed by a grand opening celebration will follow in September.

The new location will offer one-on-one lessons as well as group band practices in guitar, drums, singing, bass guitar, keyboard and piano for musicians of all skill levels, including beginner, intermediate and advanced. The open house will include walk-in tours, trial lessons and pre-enrollment opportunities, owner David Ireland said.

The music school will also offer various programs for different age groups beginning with a Little Wing program geared for children ages 3-5, during which children will use hand percussion and other tools to learn rhythm patterns and music syntax during a weekly group lesson. Other offerings include a Rookies program for children ages 6-7, Rock 101 for ages 8-13, Performance for ages 8-18 and an adult program for students age 18 and older.
