Children’s Learning Adventure will celebrate a grand opening Saturday, Oct. 29 at 9 a.m. at 24130 Hwy. 290, Cypress.

“CLA began with the belief that children have an unlimited capacity for learning,” said Daniel Petersen, vice president of development. “Our goal was to create a curriculum and facility that were educationally enriching, mentally stimulating and just plain fun for children.”

Children experience the curriculum on a rotating schedule, starting in “home room” and moving to seven learning settings: math and science lab, television studio, library, garden center, a miniature city and a professional-grade cooking classroom.

An additional 1,000-square-foot wing touts amenities design for kindergarten through sixth-grade students: bowling lanes, an indoor basketball court, iPads, Xbox Kinect, cooking school, modern dance, a ballet studio and more.

Programming caters to children from six weeks old through elementary school age, and parents can meet with educators and start the enrollment process Saturday at the grand opening event.
