BroadSoft, a cloud technology firm, became the first tenant to sign a lease at Plano's Platinum Park office project, the developer announced Thursday.
Stream Realty Partners, which developed and manages Platinum Park, said in a release that BroadSoft will lease an entire floor at one of the property's five-story office buildings near Tennyson Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway.
The company plans to occupy more than 35,000 square feet of space at Platinum Park starting in November, Stream spokesperson Kelly Hardwick said in an email.
“We are thrilled to have BroadSoft as our first tenant at Platinum Park,” Stream Executive Vice President Matt Wieser said in a statement. “We just completed our amenity package which includes a fitness center, tenant lounge, and conference facility in the building. These amenities were instrumental in BroadSoft’s decision to move to Platinum Park.”
The 14-acre development will include 332,000 square feet of office space and 12,000 square feet of space for restaurant and retail tenants.
The property is adjacent to a 136-room hotel and located near the giant Legacy West mixed-use development that opened officially in June.
A phone call to the BroadSoft corporate office in Maryland was not immediately returned early Thursday afternoon.
