Southern-California based Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar will open its second Texas location in Plano sometime in November or December at 8401 Preston Road. It will mark the family-run restaurant’s 19th location. Lazy Dog is designed to feel like a Rocky Mountain Wyoming escape, where founder Chris Simms spent much of childhood. The restaurant features lodge-inspired furnishings and a dog-friendly patio, which offers a dog menu with grilled meats and brown rice.
