Warrior Martial Arts Academy will open at 765 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, in March. The academy will offer mixed martial arts classes for children, bully defense, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 972-439-6336. https://warriormartialartsacademy.com


While the Flower Mound location is being constructed, free MMA lessons from a warrior-certified MMA instructor are available to children ages 3-14. The KickStart classes will be held Feb. 5-March 14 at the Excite Gym, 2225 Highland Village Road, Highland Village.
