Art Recovery Technologies of Greater Austin, a franchised location in Buda, will celebrate its first anniversary on Sept. 1.

Art Recovery Technologies, or ART, is an industry of experts that recover various artworks from fire or water damage to the accumulation of everyday dirt.

"Being able to restore artwork that is important to people is what I enjoy the most," franchise owner Bruce Horton said. "Our restoration employees have extensive art backgrounds with fine art degrees."

Buda's ART location at 1955 FM 2001, Ste. 310, Buda, can also serve areas outside of the greater Austin region. The business is currently working on restoring paintings and sculptures from the Rockport Center of the Arts after Hurricane Harvey damaged some of the center's artwork collection.
