Horseshoe Bay Resort finalizes $70 million renovation project

Horseshoe Bay Resort is putting the final touches on a $70 million resort and multicourse renovation this year.

With four championship golf courses and a whitewater putting course, Horseshoe Bay offers an array of golfing experiences designed by World Golf Hall of Fame members Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jack Nicklaus, a release said. In 2016, the resort began a $7.5 million project to upgrade all three of its Robert Trent Jones Sr. designs.

Punctuating the reopening of the courses will be the unveiling of the new Cap Rock Clubhouse with its views of the courses and Texas Hill Country. It will feature a dining room and bar area along with a pro shop, swimming pool, cabana, pavilion area for groups and a practice/teaching facility.
