IDEA Public School Bluff Springs began its first day of school Aug. 15 at 1700 E. Slaughter Lane, Austin. The charter school serves kindergarten through second-grade students and sixth grade. The school plans to eventually become a K-12 campus. 956-377-8000. www.ideapublicschools.org
